Why I started this

I understand what it feels like to need someone in your corner.

I’m Michael “Mick” Kelso—a loving father and son who wants to use what work and life have taught me to help others.

I am not your GP, accountant or healthcare professional. I am a loving father and son who has worked across many areas of the corporate world. Over more than 25 years, I have led people, solved problems, negotiated, read the fine print and helped others find a practical way forward.

I want to give back the knowledge I have gained through life’s hard times as well as its better times. I understand the feelings of isolation and loneliness, and how overwhelming everyday decisions can become when you feel you have to handle everything alone.

My role is to listen without judgement, help make the situation clearer and stand beside you while you build confidence and independence. I will not take control of your life or make decisions for you.

If I do not know the answer, I will be honest. Where appropriate, I will help connect you with trusted professionals or services from my network who understand the issue and will take your best interests seriously.

Sometimes people do not need another lecture or another complicated system. They need someone who genuinely cares, helps them work out the next step and stays in their corner while they take it.

“We don’t create dependence—we build confidence.”
